Description

This product is a specifically formulated, liquid iron sequestering agent developed to alleviate the precipitation of hydrous ferric oxide during acidizing operations. And it is a readily forms water soluble complexes with the released ferric ions thus preventing or significantly reducing the precipitation of hydrous ferric oxide as the pH of the acidizing fluid rises above 2.0 as the acid spends on the formation.

Typical Application

Prevents the destabilization of the colloidal dispersion. Minimizes or eliminates asphaltene sludge formation. Reduces the potential for formation damage. Completely soluble in most acidizing fluids. Effective at application temperatures up to 210 °F
