This chemical is an oil soluble, brine-dispersible corrosion inhibitor that reduces the effects of hydrogen sulfide in stress corrosion cracking processes. H2S Scavenger retards crack growth thereby extending life of metal goods. It can be applied by batch treatment or placement in treating fluids
